Possible public toilets in Parramatta Station Car Park, Woodhouse Lane
Council is in the early stages of planning for possible new, accessible, public toilets on the ground floor of Parramatta Station Car Park, as part of a wider plan to enhance the Parramatta south precinct. The new facility would be located adjacent to the pedestrian walkway on the ground floor of the car park. The toilets would be open 24/7, designed to meet modern safety requirements, and comply with current Australian Standards.
Have your say!
Council is inviting feedback on the plan for possible new toilets and its planned location within Parramatta Station Car Park. Importantly, there would be no loss of parking spaces associated with the construction of the new toilets, and the car park would continue to operate as usual. The preferred location would be accessible for all and would have good passive surveillance to improve safety in and around the car park. Share your thoughts to help shape this important community upgrade.
Please note that this proposal is currently unfunded. Council is conducting early phase engagement to support a possible grant application that would help to fund the works.
The community consultation period will close at 5pm on Friday 12 December 2025.
