Thank you for your patience during the construction works for the Fitzwilliam Road roundabout.
The project is entering its final stage, and work will ramp up over the next two to three weeks. Please note that some noise and temporary disruptions to road and pedestrian access will occur, including four scheduled night works. Traffic control will be in place to manage vehicle and pedestrian movement and ensure safety and we will do our best to minimize inconvenience to the community.
Detailed Construction Schedule:
- 24 November (Day): Demolition works
- 25–28 November (Day): Concrete works
- 1–3 December (Day): Landscaping and sign installation
- 4 December (Day): Service Road asphalt works (Service Road closed)
- 4 December (Night): Fitzwilliam Road asphalt works
- 5 December (Day): Remaining works and site clean-up
- 5 December (Night): Fitzwilliam Road (Willmot Avenue) and Ballandella Road asphalt works
- 8–9 December (Night): Final asphalt works
