Draft Community Strategic Plan 2018-2038 (2022 update)
The public exhibition of the draft Community Strategic Plan has concluded.
In mid-2022, City of Parramatta Council asked for your feedback on the Draft Community Strategic Plan 2018 - 2038 (2022 update)!
Endorsed by Council in 2018, the Community Strategic Plan (CSP) serves as the highest level strategic document for the following twenty years. Council has updated the CSP to reflect evolving community perceptions and to incorporate the changing aspirations and concerns of our community, Councillors, partners and staff. Council was seeking your feedback to ensure that the community outcomes and strategic actions were still on the right track.
While the CSP has been refreshed, the original community vision which was supported by over 15,000 participants still remains throughout the draft. One section which has experienced major evolution is the six community goals - these goals have been expanded to include outcomes, actions and indicators to measure success.
To activate the CSP and realise the stronger community goals, Council is committed to using the CSP as a guiding document for the upcoming review of major strategies and plans. This public exhibition therefore also served as an initial staging point to inform and influence future strategy development.
