Project overview

The public exhibition period for this project closed at 5pm on Tuesday16 December 2025.

Council maintains around 150 playgrounds across the Parramatta Local Government Area, from large district spaces to smaller local parks. Williams Reserve, located on Dora Crescent (off Park Road) in Dundas, is a local park that has a playground, basketball court, open space, and picnic shelter. It is a hub for active play and social connection for local residents. With equipment nearing its 20-year lifespan, renewal is needed to keep it safe and enjoyable.

In July and August 2025, Council gathered community feedback on the playground replacement proposal which has been used to inform development of the draft concept plan. In December 2026, Councilinvited the community to review the draft concept plan and share any additional feedback before construction work starts in mid - 2026.
