To support healthy communities and ensure access to quality play spaces, Council maintains approximately 150 playgrounds across the Parramatta Local Government Area. These range from large district playgrounds with diverse play structures to smaller local ones designed for young families.
Williams Reserve is located at the bend of Dora Crescent in Dundas at the back of the Dundas Sports & Recreation Club. The playground sits alongside features including a modified basketball court, ample open space, and a picnic shelter. It provides residents with a local recreational space that helps to encourage social interaction and active play for children.
With a typical lifespan of around 20 years, the playground equipment is now due for renewal to ensure it remains safe and enjoyable.

Next steps
Following the conclusion of stage one consultation, all feedback will be reviewed and used to inform the development of a draft concept design. This design will be placed on public exhibition (anticipated for October 2025) to provide a further opportunity for community feedback.
