Proposed one-way southbound traffic arrangement and parking changes on Trott Street, North Parramatta

Project background

To improve traffic conditions and safety, City of Parramatta is proposing to implement a one-way southbound traffic arrangement on Trott Street, Parramatta, between Albert Street and Harold Street.

Trott Street is a narrow, single-lane road with parking permitted on one side. The section under consideration for a one-way southbound traffic arrangement is adjacent to Parramatta North Public School. Traffic congestion during peak periods can make two-way travel difficult and potentially unsafe.

To support this one-way southbound traffic arrangement change and ensure vehicles are parked on the correct side of the road, it is also proposed to relocate parking from the west side to the east side of the street.
