Upgrades are coming to the Sherwood Street Shops in Northmead!

City of Parramatta Council is seeking to upgrade the local shopping centre located at Sherwood Street, Northmead. We recently sought feedback from the community about the existing site issues, and identify opportunities for improvement!

The Sherwood Street Shops project is funded by the Better Neighbourhood Program 2021-23. The project is part of Council's Better Neighbourhood Program, which is a long running and successful program focusing on the capital upgrades of neighbourhood centres outside of the Parramatta CBD. The program delivers improvements to centres with the goal of enhancing safety, vitality and economic prosperity.

As the Better Neighbourhood Program seeks to upgrade public places and spaces, this project will focus on items including the garden beds and access to the shops and carpark which are primarily located in the areas owned by Council.
