- After two years of COVID impacting our ability to conduct face-to-face consultations, Council is seeking to reconnect on the ground with all of our local communities.
- While Council conducts an annual community satisfaction survey that provides a pulse check, what we are looking to achieve through the community workshops is a deeper dive into the needs, wants, and unique characteristics of our suburbs.
- Although we cannot guarantee that the feedback provided will directly translate into a project, we are looking to be more proactive in our community engagement activities and ensure that we can influence and shape the future direction of Council strategies and plans.
- This is a trial that we are running to determine if our community values this form of engagement – should these workshops prove popular and successful, we will seek to deliver on an annual basis.
