Council's vision is to create vibrant, inclusive, and accessible community spaces across our city.
Right now, we are working on a project to deliver a three-level, 2,500 square meter community centre and library as a part of the Carling development at 263-281 Pennant Hills Road, Carlingford, and you can have your say!
Located between Carlingford Court Shopping Centre and Carlingford Light Rail Station, the space will be transformed over the next two years into a new community centre (also known as a hub) and full-size library designed to serve our diverse and growing community.
This new facility will be a place for everyone - regardless of age, ability, or cultural background. It will provide services to meet our needs now and in the future.
Council is inviting you to share your ideas and provide feedback for this new space. Your feedback will ensure it best meets our community's needs.
Complete the survey today and help design a brand-new community centre and library that you can enjoy!

Have your say and next steps
Feedback on the new community centre and library is welcome until 5pm on Wednesday 21 May 2025. You can have your say using the online submission form.
Following the consultation, an evaluation report will be prepared and be used to help shape the facility’s specifications, design and program/service offerings.
