In mid-2026, City of Parramatta Council invited feedback from the community on a proposal to remove a bus stop in front of 120 Alfred Street, Harris Park. The bus stop is located near the corner of Weston Street opposite Montessori Kindergarten.

Council proposed to:

  • Remove the bus stop to support customer, pick-up and delivery parking for local businesses
  • Introduce 1/4P parking in front of the shops
  • Introduce 1/2P parking opposite the shops

The pairs of bus stops on Alfred Street at Alice Street and Prospect Street are to be retained.
