Wigram Street Pop-Up Cycleway Conversion - revised

The City of Parramatta will soon commence work to convert the existing temporary pop-up
cycleway along Wigram and Cambridge Streets to a permanent cycleway. Work also includes
construction of three raised pedestrian crossings, one each on Wigram Street, Allen Street and
Cambridge Street.

Construction is scheduled to start during the week beginning 27 April 2026 and will take
approximately 14 weeks to complete, weather permitting.

Work will generally be carried out:

• Monday to Friday: 7:00am to 5:00pm
• Saturday: 8:00am to 1:00pm

Note that some construction activities, such as road pavement re-sheeting works, will be conducted
during the evenings from 8:00pm to 5:00am. Residents will be notified of the specific dates closer
to the time of the night work.
