The City of Parramatta is looking to upgrade the Bungaree Road Shops at the corner of Bungaree Road and Bethel Street, Toongabbie. Bungaree Road Shops are a convenient and much loved local centre and we are looking for ways to improve the look, feel and function of the area.

In February 2020, we asked the community to let us know what the key issues are which you face in using the centre day to day, and what would make it a more enjoyable place to spend time.

Over 100 people, ranging from business owners, to property owners and local residents who use Bungaree Road shops had their say about potential upgrades.

Overall, while it was clear that there was much love for these local shops, it was also evident that there was a desire for some improvements to take place and make Bungaree Road shops even more useful and attractive to the community.

Please click on the image below to see a summary of what we heard, or read the Engagement Report in the resources section for a more comprehensive outline of community feedback.

There will be further consultation with the community on our draft designs to improve Bungaree Road Shops in the coming months.
